Shiloh's Fun and Photos

Shiloh continues to amaze me with her focused attention while she's looking for things she wants to photograph. When we were in the car yesterday she became something of a 'street photographer' and all from her booster seat, restrained by her seatbelt and hampered by a back window that opens only as far as her eye level. Once again I'm so impressed with her determination to carefully line up her picture and then keep herself still enough for the camera to focus and shoot. I'm equally impressed when I download the photos initially to the computer and discover the number of her blurred shots is decreasing dramatically. (I should be so lucky myself!)

UPDATE: Shiloh is now 8 years old

Shiloh is five years old and when she and her sister Adora expressed a desire to take pictures I set them up with two of my cameras that I rarely use now in order to give them an opportunity to learn.

Shiloh is a bright little girl who listens well to instruction but even so I was astonished to see how carefully she held the camera and then with equal care would remain very still in order to get a photo in focus. Like all of us, Shiloh had a number of shots she wanted me to delete, however, as you can see here she took plenty of pictures that were very well done indeed!

I have only cropped and sharpened the photos in order to display them to advantage without any extra editing and Shiloh has had full artistic control regarding which pictures appear here.
